We understand that our adventure is a bit unorthodox but we are loving the new lease we have on life. We have been following several other families' blogs over the last several years and they have given us much inspiration, answers to questions, and advice. While we are not doing the same things and certainly not full time adventurers (we still work full time), we like to keep up with them and live vicariously. Below are some of our favorites, in no particular order.

We also want to provide our readers with information on some of the products we know, use, and love. We won't be offended if you don't love them too, but if we've already done the research for you, feel free to take our advice (or not). An affiliate link simply means that if you click through and purchase or sign up (this doesn't cost you anything extra) we get a few cents too. If you enjoy what we do here, purchasing through these links are a great way to help keep us creating and sharing.

Sailing LaVagabonde - A couple from Australia living aboard their sailboat, circumnavigating the globe and documenting their travels, trials, tribulations, and daily life. Their videos are great and while living aboard a monohull might not be everyone's idea of paradise, they make it look easy. Plus, they were made for the camera.

Gone With The Wynns - We first found this couple traveling across the US in a motorhome. Recently, they've embarked on a new adventure, sailing around the world on a catamaran. They bought the boat before they new how to sail! They have a wonderful outlook on life and are so generous with their information videos, showing so many people HOW to do things, WHY to do things, and more. We look to them if we want to buy a gadget as their reviews are second to none! Their thorough reviews of motorhomes helped us choose the one we ended up with!

Bumfuzzle - This is the family that started all of our thoughts about new adventures. They began as a couple, and now have 2 children. Their first adventure was on a catamaran, circumnavigating the globe. Then they took a VW bus around Europe. After the birth of their children, they've varied the adventure a bit from a monohull boat in Mexico, to a Travco camper in Mexico. They are currently fixing up a vehicle for their next adventure. These guys have been blogging for YEARS and the photography on their blog is absolutely stunning.

SV Delos - This group of friends sails the world on a 53' monohull partying like its 1999. They've been at it for about 8 years now and don't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Their drone videos are excellent and always well done.

Currently Wandering - This family of 5 lives in an Airstream camper traveling the US. They've been traveling for a little more than 3 years. Their blog features excellent equipment reviews, mountain biking and hiking adventures and lots of technical advice. The photography is wonderful as Jess, the wife/mother is a photographer. We enjoy their unique perspective on all the amazing places there are right in our own country.

Mali Mish - This family of 5 has traveled in an Airstream and a truck camper through the US, Canada and Mexico. They've been at it for almost 10 years now. They've recently added drone footage/photos to their site, elevating it to the next level.

eMeals - A few years ago, Adam was diagnosed with Celiacs. After a grueling several years of poking, prodding, and testing, we were thankful that was all it was, but lost and confused on how to change our lifestyle to best suit this required change in eating habits. We tried for a while to come up with fancy meals and ideas, but ended up cooking the same 5 things each week. BORING! I broke down eventually and for Valentine's Day bought a subscription to eMeals - the gluten free plan (they have tons of plans). We have been amazed at the variety and deliciousness of EVERY SINGLE THING we have made. To date, we have not had a single thing we don't like - now, we do pick and choose from the weekly menu what to make and we know looking at that what we probably won't like, so we don't make it! The meals are easy, fairly quick, and tasty. As a bonus, the service has an app that allows you to add the meals you want to make to a shopping list - it can't get much easier than that! They also have a delivery service option (which we haven't tried since we live out of the country currently) and a tracker to keep up with what's on sale that week (which we also can't use because they don't have the overseas grocery stores linked). However, if you shop at Publix, WalMart, WinnDixie, etc. I think this would be a GREAT tool to help you save money in addition to making your life easier. We chose to affiliate ourselves with eMeals because we truly believe in what they provide - it has made our lives tremendously easier as well as our meals much more exciting.
